With a line-up of musicians from Greece, Turkey, India, Malaysia, Japan, Spain and many more, Aroojs’ music is a refreshing and peaceful blend of world instruments in a Sufi, Peaceful, Ambient World-Fusion setting. Originally from Lahore Pakistan, and a graduate of Boston’s renowned Berklee School of Music Arooj Aftab is a Music Producer/Engineer, a songwriter and a social activist. She speaks openly on social issues in her country and around the world. Arooj envisions musicians working together as social activists, using music to motivate people and instigate them to make strong, positive changes.
