About HDF

In a little more than a decade, the Human Development Foundation (HDF) has touched thousands of
communities and transformed the lives of hundreds of thousands of people all across Pakistan. A non-political movement for positive social change, HDF delivers diverse and sustainable programs in five key areas: Education, Health Care, Economic Development, Sustainable Environment and Social Mobilization.

HDF believes that everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity and the opportunity to succeed.

The concept of Human Development embraces all aspects of development, including

HDF Flood Response

As the devastation hit, HDF was a first responder organization, as it was in the 2000 Drought
and the 2005 Earthquake. Due to HDF’s vast experience and 750+ personnel on the ground,
HDF is uniquely positioned to carry out both relief and rehabilitation activities once again.
 

Relief Efforts

  • 2.4 Million meals have been provided to food Victims
  • 2,321 families received special EID Gift Packs
  • 213 Free Medical Camps have been set up
  • 5 Water Filtration Plants have been installed
  • 15,000 Water Purification Tablets have been dispersed
  • 19 Safe Drinking Tanks have been installed
